President Obama is having his big meeting with the Republicians and Democrates following the 2010 vote. He announces that they have had a good meeting and will be working together.
We don't believe it.
Why don't we?
Because the TV newscasters tell us so.
The news stations are runing polls on everything. Let's have a poll and find out who Americans trust to tell them the truth.
Will it be President Obama? Or will it be Fox News? Will it be Republician Speaker of the House? Or will it MSNBC?
So they have the trust of the American people. What high minded purpose are the news stations, and talk radio guided by? Listenership...which means advertising...which means revenue...that's right, the almighty dollar.
